For those who plan to attend Open House on Friday, April 28th, we strongly recommend encourage you to extend your visit to attend RIT’s Creativity and Innovation Festival on Saturday, April 28th. This is a special event that showcases the imaginative spirit of RIT students, faculty, and staff.
Visitors are asked to self-monitor for any symptoms related to COVID-19 before coming to campus. If you have known exposure to COVID-19 or have any of these symptoms, we ask that you do not visit. Masking is optional in all locations except health care facilities. Individuals should take proper precautions, such as masking, based on their personal risk. For detailed information, please review RIT Ready for COVID-19 safety procedures. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and activities should conclude by 4:15 p.m. To maximize your visit experience, advanced registration is highly recommended. After your visit, we will waive your $65 application fee. If you are not able to attend this event, you can schedule an individual visit online (Monday-Friday), a Virtual Campus Visit, or contact NTID Admissions at (585) 475-6700 (Voice), (585)-743-1366 (VP), or vistNTID@rit.edu.
NTID is supported by the U.S. federal government with the mission to educate deaf and hard-of-hearing students. For admissions purposes, NTID requires students to submit an audiogram and to show proof of citizenship. The audiogram will determine eligibility for the reduced tuition offered to deaf and hard-of-hearing students. At this time, undocumented students who cannot show proof of citizenship are not eligible for the reduced tuition. Please contact visitNTID@rit.edu to learn more about these requirements.
