Interested in learning American Sign Language? Now it couldn't be easier!

Rochester Institute of Technology’s virtual Discover ASL Program is for hard-of-hearing and deaf students who will enter 11th or 12th grade in fall 2024.

Through this program, you’ll:

• Earn four FREE college credits to help satisfy a foreign language requirement at RIT, another university, or community college.
• Meet other hard-of-hearing and deaf students like you who are interested in learning ASL, and get opportunities to explore and develop your identity.
• Learn from qualified deaf instructors—ensuring an authentic and immersive learning experience.
• Participate with the other students and the instructor at the same time (synchronous learning), but from different locations.

Discover ASL is FREE and offered online May 15 – August 15, 2024.
Deadline to submit your interest: March 1, 2024 for a course enrollment in the 2023-24 summer program.
