Financial Aid Appeal

RIT understands that each student's financial circumstances are different. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships provides as much support to students as possible through scholarships, grants, loans, and work programs to create a comprehensive financial aid offer, however we recognize that there may be a need to reconsider the assistance offered.

This appeal form is designed to allow students the opportunity to request a reconsideration of the original financial aid offer based upon circumstances they believe deserve consideration.

Please take special note of the following requirements and procedures as you complete this form:

If you have submitted the RIT Financial Aid Application, please wait to file an appeal until after you have received an aid offer from our office.
Upon review of this form submission, you will be notified if we require additional documentation.
