Undergraduate Admissions Campus Visit

There's no place like RIT, so nothing beats a campus visit.

We’re safely welcoming families to campus for small group in-person campus tours and starting, July 6 on-campus information sessions too. Available Monday through Friday and on select weekends, you’ll see how we're always on to something amazing.

Due to COVID-19, we will be adhering to the following safety protocols set by NYS Department of Health and RIT:

  • We are limiting our group tours to 10 or less. Families of more than four should contact our office to set up accommodations.
  • If joining us for an Information Session, each student registrant can bring one guest into the presentation room.
  • Upon arrival, please be prepared to have a temperature check and respond to a COVID-19 symptom questionnaire. In addition, we would appreciate your cooperation by reviewing the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 symptoms prior to arrival.
  • People who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 do not need to wear a face mask outdoors or indoors — nor physically distance on campus — except within the Student Health Center and while on public transportation, as stipulated by the revised RIT Safety Plan. Fully vaccinated individuals who are unmasked will need to show proof of vaccination via a copy of their immunization card or the New York State Excelsior Pass at check-in and will receive a pass to show the ability to circulate on tour unmasked.
  • People who are immunocompromised or not fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth and maintain physical distancing while indoors in the presence of others, or moving through space occupied by others, and must maintain at least six (6) feet of distance between themselves and others indoors or outdoors.
  • New York travel guidelines require all New Yorkers, as well as those visiting from out-of-state or another country, to take personal responsibility for compliance in the best interest of public health and safety. Review the COVID-19 New York Travel Advisory.

You must sign up at least 24 hours in advance. No walk-in guided tours can be accommodated at this time but self-guided tour maps are available on the outside entrance of the Bausch and Lomb Center at RIT.
